Frame Handle Camp
$ 1,850.00
The versatility and beauty of the frame-handle concept continues to intrigue me. There are so many practical benefits to this construction, as well as subtle details (like the tapered frame) that provide a great canvas for ongoing exploration.
The blade with its hidden tang are forged to shape from 80CRV2, with particular attention paid to the forged plunges and the extra thin cross section (which is nearly hollow), mated to a hand-finished convex edge and swedge grind.
The handle is a stunning piece of stabilized English walnut, satin oil finished, and set off with three black composite pins. The finished knife is very light, and fast.
The sheath is a high-ride, right handed, with a faux inlay. (I happen to know one of the foremost faux hunters in not just the US but the world, and I get access to exhibition grade faux that is seen almost nowhere else).
Blade length: 7.5”, Overall length: 12.25”, Weight: 11 oz.
