Ferruginous Fighter
Ferruginous means containing iron, and is also the name of a hawk, native to western North America. This fighter contains the two main elements of that bird, namely speedy and dangerous.
The blade is a feather pattern damascus (see what I did there with the feather thing?) of 80CRV2 and 15N20 steels. It has a bold, high-contrast etch and a razor sharp edge. The thorned guard is blued steel and the handle is polished African Blackwood. The knife is finished with a bronze spacer and pin, an omage to the bronze patterns on the hawk.
The sheath is a high-ride model with speckled tooling.
