Grasslands Bowie

Made in 2005, this big bowie was forged from W-2 and clay hardened.  Unfortunately it took me years to get a clay-hardened blade that I could polish in a way that I could actually photograph, so it's very hard to see the hamon. 

The guard and ferrule are Damascus, heat-colored to a gold tone.  Accents are nickel silver and the handle is desert ironwood.

The sheath has two frogskin inlays with a Damascus frog stud.
