Backpacker's Bowie

This knife was made in 2004, the year I got my Mastersmith stamp.  It became one of the most requested knives I made for many years.

The knife is forged 52100, hand-finished on the flats and mirror polished along the spine.  The guard and ferrule are stainless, finished the same two-tone way as the blade.  The handle is California Buckeye which has been a particular favorite of mine for a long time.
