Jappalachian Chef
This is a great medium chef's knife...a fusion (as the foodies would say) of Japanese, French and just a pinch of American.
The woodgrain pattern damascus (80CRV2 and 15N20) is boldly patterned and deeply etched for a little artistic inspiration while you slice and dice your dinner. The French pattern blade is ground very thin and tapered to a sharp, flexible point.
The wa style handle is stabilized cherry burl (from right here in Appalachia), faceted into an octagon for a classic look and a comfortable grip, secured with black composite pins.
Comes with a leather blade sleeve for storage.
