The Nemesis, the Behemoth, The Great White Whale, or as Melville called it, simple the Whale. The mythical beast that haunted the travels of the mad Ahab resurfaces here in a new, sharper form.
This incarnation of the Whale is forged from 80CRV2, with the hammer doing most of the work, and the grinder merely mopping up the details. The handle scales are fossil whale bone, secured with composite pins and finished with oil. Whale oil, maybe.
The deep pouch sheath is covered with the leaves of autumn, because you see...umm...oh I don't know. I felt like it...ok? Seriously the whole thing doesn't need a whale theme now does it!
